who we are
FBFX Digital, formed as part of acclaimed Special Effects costume makers FBFX in 2013, has been at the forefront of body scanning and digital costume creation for film and fashion for over a decade. Our West London studio with VIP facilities is easy to reach from the capital and Heathrow.
We offer a CONCEPT TO COMPLETION service for VFX studios, fashion houses and artists using our state-of-the-art photogrammetry, PBR and object scanning technology.
what we do
With experts in scanning, rigging, modelling & texturing, digital pattern cutting, garment construction and grooming, our in-house team of digital artists specialises in every aspect of asset creation, from the first scan to the finished product.
FBFX Digital’s pioneering tech includes a photogrammetry rig updated in 2024 with 238 high-resolution DSLR cameras and innovative cross-polarised bounced lighting, a new, 128 light material PBR scanner capturing thread-level detail, and 50mpx robotic object scanning.

The flexible studio space at our London HQ can be set up for stills photography, elements shoots and scanning sessions.
Facilities include dedicated changing facilities, a meeting/production area, client hospitality, 16 amp power and a suite of photographic & lighting equipment.
